The gypsies arrived at the camp in the early hours of dusk. The forest, bathed in the quiet peace of the hour, dispelled a magical aroma all around—the mysterious and intoxicating scent of some exotic unknow flower, of nut and honey and, the mourning dove, were already singing the songs of the night.

The rows of lilac trees, now devoid of their earlier glories, remained verdant and tacit in their stolidity, as if quietly waiting for another spring to regain renewed splendors.  How sad the gypsy girl felt just thinking of just how gloriously beautiful they had looked just a few weeks ago… and how vulnerable too, consciously aware that everything precious in life must come to an end eventually.

The gypsies went to set things up, went for a short walk around their favorite camp and then went to prepared their dinner.  They placed their little portable table and chairs on the promontory looking down at the peaceful lake, and eat their humble dinner of soup and bread…

Soon, a pink glow rested atop the water, turning the lake into an aquarelle of pastel baby blues and blush pinks, and over the mountains, at the bottom of the lake, the last sun of the day soon appeared—another day was concluding, another night to welcome them…

After breakfast the following morning the gypsies went down to the river… him to fish her to read, meditate, pray and bask in Nature….

She could see their camp and gypsy trailer far away down on the other shore from where she was sitting...

And could not stop but marveling at how trees could survived sitting under water...

In got pretty hot soon after…. The June sun came down onto camp and campers with revenge that afternoon.  It was hard to move or read or fish or do anything else.  They made lunch and eat it quietly…  a beautiful breeze came down refreshing campers and souls and they sat down and ate their good food watching people and boats go by down below the water...

They read and took their computers out and sat inside their gypsy trailer for a while, but it was too hot to stay put, even with the air conditioning going on on high...

The gypsy girl and her Fisherman decided then to go for a walk... it is such a beautiful camp!

The camp hosts have made a little garden around their trailer, and have even built a marvelous little deck where they keep many flowerpots and little whimsical trinkets all around... it is such a cute enchanting place!

Then, a few hours after that they packed everything up, and went back home… It was a short stay indeed, but nonetheless a peaceful and lovely stay... till next time!
